Join us at SMS group in Boden, Sweden for the following role:

YOU ACT

You will manage accounting independently, collaborating closely with the SMS Group's shared service center. Your responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements according to the commercial code and IFRS, among other tasks:

  • Preparation of reports for group accounting, controlling, and official notifications
  • Independent creation of annual financial statements in compliance with commercial code and IFRS, including audit-preparation
  • Development of corporate plans alongside commercial management, encompassing budgeted balance sheets, profit/loss accounts, and financial planning
  • Contributing to international accounting process standardization with S/4 HANA
  • Participation in IT projects and their implementation

YOU KNOW

You should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, with knowledge of Swedish GAAP being essential. Familiarity with IFRS is beneficial but not obligatory. We value:

  • Familiarity with the Swedish Commercial Code and basic IFRS knowledge
  • Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and MS Office products
  • Excellent written and spoken English, as well as proficiency in Swedish
  • Strong IT skills
  • Flexibility, dedication, and ability to perform under pressure
  • Ownership, reliability, and adherence to deadlines
  • Independence, goal-oriented mindset, and team collaboration skills
