What You Will Be Doing

At Group Trucks Purchasing, you will play a part in transforming our company, the transport industry, and society as a whole.

We are searching for an enthusiastic buyer to join our Thermal Management Purchasing team in Gothenburg, Sweden, working alongside colleagues in Sweden and France. This role provides a global setting with exciting challenges and room for growth.

As a Commodity Buyer for Thermal scope, your tasks will include selecting suppliers and overseeing the ongoing growth and performance of the supplier portfolio.

In close collaboration with your purchasing team and a cross-functional network, you will actively lead all the necessary initiatives to ensure top-notch supplier QDCFTSR (*) performance throughout product development and serial production.

(*) QDCFTSR = Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, and Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all relevant actions to achieve QDCFTSR (*) targets during Sourcing/Project and Operations phases
  • Manage strategic sourcing projects to completion in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and oversee their implementation
  • Identify, mitigate, and monitor risks and supplier crises
  • Contribute actively to team development by proposing improvement ideas, supporting peers, sharing best practices, and seeking help when needed
