Your profile

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to implement customer functionality for the Stressometer system, which measures and controls flatness in metal sheets produced in cold rolling mills. As a Lead Engineer, you will engage in diverse tasks allowing for personal and professional growth. Strong presentation and problem-solving skills are crucial for customer interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in kick-off meetings as a technical coordinator for the ABB Stressometer system
  • Analyze customer requirements and existing system landscape to optimize benefits
  • Specify interfaces between the Stressometer system and process control systems
  • Plan and develop customized flatness measurement applications
  • Support ABB personnel globally during service and commissioning
  • Create project-specific customer documentation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge in measurement, automation, and programming
  • Experience with process automation equipment
  • Familiarity with communication protocols and computer networks
  • Strong customer focus and quality orientation
  • Proficiency in English and Swedish
  • Willingness to travel internationally
