About the job
EQT, a purpose-driven global investment firm, is seeking a dynamic Vice President Accounting Operations Group, focusing on Order to cash to join our team in Stockholm. Our Finance Team includes members based in Stockholm, London, Luxembourg, New York, Singapore, and Hong Kong. In this role, you will ensure processes and ways of working are aligned across the Group, focusing on cost allocation and order to cash. You will collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Accounting Operations, Finance Managers and Process Owners worldwide.
As the responsible for Order to cash, you will manage and optimise all aspects of revenue and cost allocation within the EQT Group and Funds. Your key responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of cost allocation keys, leading cost allocation meetings, maintaining KPI dashboards, handling transfer pricing, and securing end-to-end processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders across the organisation. Additionally, you will work closely with the EQT tech team to continuously improve the order to cash process.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Oversee and manage all types of cost allocation within the EQT Group and Funds.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, prepare content, and maintain the KPI dashboard on unallocated costs.
- Ensure accuracy in cost allocation keys for all relevant cost types.
- Handle the practical split and recharge process from EQT Group to EQT Funds.
- Manage and secure the processing of transfer pricing.
- Develop and maintain tech solutions within the Order to Cash area.
- Engage with senior business leaders on specific cost allocation items in recurring meetings.
- Educate internal and external accounting teams on cost allocation topics.
- Manage accruals to funds and oversee recharge projects within the Group.
- Serve as the main point of contact for accounting firms, finance managers, and auditors for Order to Cash.
- Act as an expert and process owner for the Order to Cash (O2C) module in NetSuite (NS).
Candidate profile
- Master's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Experienced, qualified accountant with approximately 5 - 7 years of experience from roles such as Financial Controller or Accounting Manager or equivalent.
- Experience working in a multi-jurisdictional finance team.
- Knowledge of output VAT from an international perspective.
