About this opportunity
As the Head of Head of Financial and Management Reporting, you will have overall responsibility for the Nordea group’s accounting and financial reporting, covering both external and management reporting. You will lead a skilled team and ensure that the group’s accounting is of high quality, complies with current regulations, and contributes to the company’s continued growth. You will report to the Head of Financial Reporting & Control and work closely with the CFO and the CFO Leadership Team.

What you’ll be doing:
Managing the Nordea group’s closing processes and financial reporting, including annual reports and quarterly reports. Ensuring that accounting complies with IFRS and local laws and regulations. The design, control and production of management reporting to support performance management and decision making. Leading, motivating, and developing the group’s accounting functions. Driving efficiency improvements in accounting processes and systems. Managing relationships with auditors and other external parties. Overseeing internal control functions and risk management related to accounting and reporting.Who you are

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
A degree in business administration, finance, or equivalent, with a focus on accounting/auditing. Extensive experience in qualified group accounting, preferably from an international company and/or audit. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and experience in reporting for publicly listed companies, preferably within the banking/finance industry. Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work. Significant leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop employees. Excellent communication skills. What we offer
