Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Head waiter to oversee the daily operations at Restaurant Fei. Do you want to create unforgettable experiences for the restaurant’s guests and improve the highest standards of service and operational efficiency with your team? Join our journey to become the spearhead of Chinese cuisine in the Nordics The Head Waiter (HW) reports to the Restaurant Manager.

You have a knack for problem-solving and are adept at handling the challenges that come with managing a busy restaurant. Your passion for the hospitality industry drives you to continuously seek ways to improve and innovate, and your excellent communication skills ensure seamless interactions with both guests and colleagues. You speak both Swedish and English and it’s a bonus if you can speak Chinese. We also think that you have a few years experience from this position and/or bering a waiter. 

Key Responsibilities

Below you will find examples of your tasks and areas of responsibility. 

• Lead and allocate  operations during service within the restaurant
• Administrate and handle incoming reservations, group bookings, and guest requests.
• Ensure everyone in the department clearly understands how they are expected to contribute to the results every day. Responsible for up-selling within the department.
• Responsible for scheduling waiter staff.
• Work with and develop routines for the department and ensure they are followed. Ensure the company’s policies are adhered to.
• Ensure that all staff has accurate and relevant information regarding events in the house before each shift 
• If needed help out with monthly inventory.
• Ensure that correct prices and menus are updated in the department.
  
• When necessary/low booking rates at FEI, also manage and oversee our other F&B operations at the hotel, such as Livingroom Bistro and/or Banquet operation. 
• Perform other tasks assigned to you by the Restaurant Manager
