Group Credit Management are developing with high speed to meet demand for credit decision automation and at the same time stay compliant. Our work with development span cross the End to End Credit life cycle from the Credit risk assessment and decision, High risk processes and Reporting. To deliver on our agenda we collaborate within Group Credit Management and with all Business Areas as well as Group Credit Risk Control, Group Finance and Regulatory Reporting, Group Data management and IT.

We are now looking for experienced change and process specialist with a strong interest in data within Information and Analytics capability. The position will offer an exciting opportunity for you to develop a key capability at the heart of Nordea. You will gain insight in the credit risk processes as well as how they are interlinked with the Capital and Credit risk reporting processes.

About this opportunity

You will join Reporting and Analytics a unit within Information and Analytics Capability that focuses on strategy, requirements, analysis, development and governance of credit risk data needed for key credit functionality and processes such as credit assessment and decision, monitoring and reporting. As an experienced Change and Process Specialist you drive functional and non-functional requirements, analysis of data and data sources to meet the requirements and UAT sign offs. You will work close with our stakeholders in GCM, 2nd LoD and business areas to understand requirements and problems, proposing solutions ad hoc as well as through our development backlogs.

You will work closely with the other team members and relevant stakeholders to analyse and support the implementation of the Credit and Risk information architecture and data flows across the credit capability sub areas to fulfil the credit risk reporting for business as well as regulatory requirements.

What you’ll be doing :

Work closely with the Product Owner and support with planning activities. Structure and drive analysis and requirements to successfully implement smaller or larger improvement in existing data flows and business logic for Credit risk reporting and Operational data. Be a part of an agile structure, with focus on defining, evaluating and prioritizing features working closely with development teams and relevant stakeholders. Ensuring delivered functionality meet business and regulatory requirements and maximize business value. Building specific competence on credit processes, applications, reports and data. When required take roles as Product owner, Data steward as a possibility to grow Identify potential and actively propose improvements to streamline the end to end credit processes and data.

The team is Nordic with reps in different countries. You’ll join a diverse, multi-faceted and passionate team. Occasional travel primarily in the Nordics should be expected.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you :

Have relevant experience in Business Requirements elicitation and act as a liaison the change/IT organisation. Driven individual who can work with data sources and databases. Have strong analytical skills with interest in the Credit risk processes and gaining understanding of the business logic and processes underpinning the reports and operational use cases. Create valid decision-making proposals to superior. Are self-going with own contribution in the value chain by acting with the customers in mind in all processes to create great customer experiences. Proactively take on the responsibility to support the goal of creating great customer experiences in every relationship and delivery in order to make it possible. Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to an open dialogue in the team. Strong communication: comfortable initiating and driving meetings with stakeholders. Ability to quickly learn and with an interest to develop an understanding for banking and credit. Work well with others and always act with the customer’s needs in mind. Are flexible within your own role to support the achievements of team results. Execute on planned tasks to ensure that targets are met. Demonstrable understanding of data management (governance, ownership, data definition, lineage, profiling, root cause analysis, remediation). High level of energy and engagement with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines. A natural “can do” attitude and a high level of curiosity to find solutions.

Your experience and background :

5 years of relevant work experience. Experienced in documenting and conceptualising requirements capturing the essential in complex environments. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (SQL, Python, SAS or similar tools). Strong understanding of both business and IT. Experience working with Enterprise Datawarehouse or Data marts. Experience within big data analysis through Snowflake or Hadoop will be considered an advantage but not a necessity. Previous experience of credit management or capital reporting is a plus, but not a necessity. Familiar with agile methodologies is a plus. Working experience in Financial Services or a Consultancy is a plus. Fluent in English written and spoken.
