Senior Data Analyst for Revenue Assurance team

Do you have a passion to work with data and analytics and help business to ensure accuracy and integrity of the revenue data and optimize the Revenue streams ?

Without efficient and effective Revenue Assurance activities and controls throughout the Revenue Value chain, the risk is that we are losing revenues in end-to-end revenue stream.

This requires attention and action from process owners and analyst performing tasks within the different parts of the processes to validate consistency in the end-to-end revenue stream and identify any mismatches that could cause revenue losses.

As a Data Analyst, you would support Revenue Assurance CoE in Telia to discover new controls in different parts of the order, billing and provisioning processes. The work also involves an end2end collaboration between Revenue assurance specialist and process owners in the respective countries for taking appropriate actions.

You would support Nordics telecom business functions and later also our Baltics business.

What you will be doing

You will create solutions that will enable Revenue Assurance specialists to broaden their insights into the different telecom processes and identify further actions that are needed to prevent revenue leakages. You will collaborate with different system SMEs, analyze, and connect large datasets to understand the different processes and how different systems interact with each other to provide services to our customers. There is a need for you as a Data Analyst to work with both structured and semi-structured data that are either modeled or unmodeled. You will also collaborate with Data Engineers and Solution Architects to extract data from different sources to the analytics platform. Moreover, you will visualize data and communicate insights to different stakeholders using simple tools like Notebooks . You should be able to explain and justify complex insights in a clear and simplified manner to reach an agreement with stakeholders and further visualize confirmed insights using standard reporting tools.

 In addition, you will:

Analyze what more controls we can put to optimize the revenue streams. Work within data analyst community and support initiatives related to assessment of tools and capabilities for analytics product development.

Is this you?

Previous experience in similar position in Finance or IT functions in Telecommunication Retail, Banking, or Insurance. business with working knowledge in areas like:CRM, Order managementProvisioning systems - How products are provisioned for customers.Billing and rating Strong knowledge of SQL and Python programming for Data analysis Strong knowledge of using Notebooks for data exploration and visualization. Jupyter Notebook would be considered as Bonus Good knowledge of any reporting tool. Qlik Sense is considered a bonus Good knowledge of data modelling and BI concepts Knowledge of CI/CD using Git is a bonus Result-oriented thinking and planning Self-driven and Business-oriented Highly motivated and also motivate and groom other Data analyst in the team Skilled in explaining the complex insights and concepts in a simplified and pedagogic fashion Fluent in English. Swedish communication skills are a bonus. You have a great curiosity and passion for understanding how the different processes work and how different systems are connected to each other.

Desirable:

Good Knowledge of Jira Good Understanding of SAFe Agile principles. Good working experience of performing Data analysis in Revenue management functions. Knowledge of doing data analysis using cloud services such as GCP or AWS
