Unsere Aufgabe im Bereich Customer IT der Vattenfall IT ist es, digitale Lösungen und Produkte zu entwickeln und zu betreiben, die es unseren Geschäftseinheiten ermöglichen unser gemeinsames Ziel zu erreichen: Fossilfreies Leben innerhalb einer Generation 

Eine wesentliche Voraussetzung zur Erreichung dieses Ziels ist die Optimierung und Digitalisierung unserer Geschäftsprozesse. Die tägliche Arbeit unserer Spezialisten aus den Fachabteilungen im Zusammenspiel mit Kunden, Servicepartnern und Kollegen soll dadurch vereinfacht werden. Dabei gewonnene Freiräume können genutzt werden, um unserem übergeordneten Ziel mit innovativen Ideen und Produkten näher zu kommen. 

In der Position als Cloud Engineer Azure / AWS unterstützt du uns unser Team die zunehmenden DevOps Verantwortung für die Cloud Lösungen unseres Business wahrzunehmen und damit die reibungslose Abbildung unserer digitalen Kundenprozesse sicherzustellen.

Du bist Teil eines agilen Teams, das in Berlin / Hamburg und auch remote ansässig ist und fokussierst dich in diesem Kontext auf betriebsnahe Tätigkeiten und Herausforderungen im Umfeld von AWS und Microsoft Azure.

Was wirst Du tun? 

Als Cloud Engineer Azure / AWS arbeitest Du sowohl eng mit den Entwicklungsteams als auch mit dem Fachbereich zusammen um deren Anforderungen an die Softwarelösung zu verstehen und schließlich zu operationalisieren und zu betreiben. Dabei hilft Dir Deine breite Erfahrung und Expertise, sowohl im Coding (Python, .NET, PL/SQL) als auch Kenntnis bei infrastrukturnahen Themen (Cloud-Umgebungen und Cloud-Services).

Deine Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten: 

Du arbeitest in agilen Teams mit Kollegen aus Business und IT, um gemeinsam sowohl fachliche Zusammenhänge als auch die technische Lösung zu verstehen  Du bist in der Lage, fachliche Anforderungen in technische Implementierungen umzusetzen  Du kannst stabile und robuste Lösungen betreiben und weiterentwickeln  Du stellst sicher, dass eine aktuelle Dokumentation existiert  Dir macht es Spaß, dich in einem agilen Kontext immer wieder neuen Veränderungen zu stellen  Du hast Erfahrung mit Azure/AWS und deren Cloud-nativen Services

Dein Profil / Wer bist Du?

Als unser:e neue:r Cloud Engineer Azure / AWS bringst Du ein solides Verständnis von Software-Entwicklung und -Betrieb in Cloudumgebungen mit. Du hast sowohl Erfahrung im Coding, als auch mit infrastrukturnahen Themen und bist bereit dich in diese zu vertiefen und einzuarbeiten. Dabei bist du in der Lage spezifische Sachverhalte und Probleme auch mit den Kolleginnen und Kollegen unserer zentralen Infrastrukturteams zu erörtern und zu lösen. Da sich unsere Software und Lösungslandschaft stetig verändert und weiterentwickelt, bist du in der Lage selbstständig betriebliche Themen als auch technische Veränderungen (z.B. in Form von Proof-of-Concepts) zu verfolgen und voranzutreiben.

Dazu bringst Du mit: 

Idealerweise ein abgeschlossenes Bachelor-, Master oder Diplomstudium (IT, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder vergleichbar)  Verständnis von Infrastruktur und Software-Engineering  Erfahrung mit Hyperscalern (z.B. Azure oder AWS) und der Transformation von on-Prem Anwendungen und Systemen in die Cloud  Als Teamplayer Spaß, mit Kollegen und anderen Stakeholdern – egal ob intern oder extern – zusammenzuarbeiten  Die Fähigkeit, mit deinem agilen Mindset gleichermaßen zwischen Business-Anforderungen und technischen Themen zu navigieren  Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
