Deploja AB is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud native solutions using cloud native services (preferably Azure or other cloud provider AWS or GCP).
  • Manage and operate the CDX platform on Azure along with OnCall support.
  • Offload product teams with CDX core components in Azure.
  • Manage communication and rules between cloud environments using CDX Firewall.
  • Expose applications publicly using CDX Frontdoor.
  • Route traffic to applications using Application Gateways.
  • Apply best practices from the Well Architected Framework using Guardrails.
  • Baseline cloud environments to product teams.
  • Explore cloud services as an individual using Personal Sandbox.
  • Explore cloud services as a team using Team Sandbox.
  • Deploy and run applications in Test & Prod environments.
  • Onboard product teams to the CDX platform.
  • Manage DNS.
  • Implement networking with Hub & Spoke architecture.
  • Provide security recommendations using Defender for cloud.

Requirements:

  • Experience with designing and implementing solutions using cloud native services (preferably Azure or other cloud provider AWS or GCP).
  • Hands-on experience as Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or similar roles coming from a Software development or system administration background.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep or similar tools.
  • Experience with Container and/or Serverless services in cloud environments.
  • Experience with designing and implementing solutions using cloud native API Gateway and API management services (preferably in Azure or other cloud provider).
  • Experience with writing automation scripts/tools using Bash, Python, JavaScript, Typescript or Go.
  • Understanding of Hub & Spoke architecture.
  • Understanding of networking architecture such as DNS, routing, subnet, NAT, CDN, load balancers, etc.
  • Understanding of Azure AD, access management concepts such as AD groups, IAM, etc.

Desirable Skills:

  • Hands-on experience on using multiple cloud services based on the use cases (preferably Azure or other cloud provider).
  • Understanding of security concepts Azure RBAC, Defender for cloud, Sentinel, Azure policies, Firewall, etc.
  • Understanding of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise landing zone concepts.
