A Sustainability Controller responsible for managing Elekta’s ESG data, as well as establishing and maintaining a centralized functional reporting system. The role is part of the Group sustainability team – with a dotted line to the Group Accounting & Reporting function – working across the sustainability focus areas: Access to Health Care, Business Ethics, People in Focus, and Environmental Action.

 
 What You’ll Do At Elekta 
The Sustainability Controller responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Structure and improve Elekta’s ESG data processes, methodologies and management system – including the further development of our greenhouse gas inventory for scope 1, 2 and 3Coordinate timely and accurate collection of input data from across the organization (KPIs, input data) and external stakeholders (including suppliers, rating institutes, etc.)Lead on ESG reporting to enable delivery of annual and sustainability reports to the external market, including Elekta’s participation in external questionnaire and ratings (eg, CDP, S&P CSA, UNGC CoP, etc)Work closely with colleagues in other functions to ensure timely alignment with changing reporting regulation, including the EU Taxonomy Directive and CSRDSupport implementation of new ESG software solution to establishing a centralized functional reporting system for non-financial dataWork closely with Group accounting & Reporting, Sustainability and Strategy teams in business projects and proactively manage ESG data in such projectsOverall support the business in driving improvement projects within sustainability

The Sustainability Controller will play an active role in representing the group’s vision and mission while supporting the goals of the overall business. We are looking for a candidate who has proven experience in being a “spider in the net” and enjoy collaborating with others and engaging with colleagues across all business units and markets, leading discussions and supporting and encouraging others to act on our sustainability agenda and targets

What You Bring

+5 years of data management, financial and/or business analysis skillsSustainability or non-financial reporting experienceProven experience of Excel; mid-to advanced level Experience with (non-financial) reporting and data management software Knowledge and interest about Swedish/EU/European stock market reportingLanguage – English written and spoken; high proficiency. Passion for data and analysis, seek to find solutions and drive change through data Enjoy creating structure and establishing processes to increase efficiency and improve ways of workingInterest in sustainability and want to contribute in building a more sustainable business
