Our mission is to support and accelerate innovation and we are in the exciting process of building a new core team with a large collaborative network. We are now looking for a Technical Lead to be a key player in understanding how to leverage the latest advances in technology and what is emerging, to drive impact and capture business value. This is the opportunity to be part of changing the fashion business globally
Job Description
What you will do as Technical Lead
At H&M we have a strong, value-driven culture characterized by believing in people, teamwork and an entrepreneurial spirit. Here you can be yourself and develop. You’ll be part of one of the most important areas at H&M Group to achieve our growth goals with significant opportunities to influence and make a difference.
We offer you the freedom and opportunity to get creative, to decide how we can exploit the latest technologies and tools to achieve our strategic priorities, in a creative environment, with a laser focus on potential to scale and create commercial value. This is not innovation theatre.
This role holder will:

As examples, this could include initiatives working on the future of the physical and digital retail experience
Oversee the conception and development of software solutions relating to the unit's work, typically tests, experiments, or prototype builds
Use their creative, innovators mindset to be able to translate strategic imperatives into inventive yet scalable solution design
Collaborate closely with business design and other teams, share best practice and evangelize innovation at H&M Group both internally and externally. They will work not solely as an engineer who waits for clear requirements, but fully contributing to the innovation funnel at all stages, ideation, defining propositions, and how success will be measured
Use your knowledge of the required languages and frameworks to lead the creation of everything from proof of concepts to complete systems
Share knowledge within the team and the wider engineering community
Provide coaching and support for the Software engineers

We want people who are experienced in working with and influencing at all levels in an organization.
From a skills perspective we need:
At least 8 years of experience as Software Engineer with back and front-end experience and a solid understanding of retail tech stacks
