About this opportunity


Welcome to the Process & Change management team in Group Finance. We add value by driving the Group Finance strategy process and by leading key change initiatives to execute on the plan set. Our initiatives span across the different finance capabilities and sometimes involve driving change across the Nordea Group. We at times come in very early, when what will later be a strategic change initiative is just an idea. Other times we take on the driver role in an already structured initiative. In this role, there is plenty of opportunity to grow in different functional areas in finance, broaden your network and understanding of how Group Finance and ultimately the Nordea Group works. You will be leading change initiatives as a Project Leader, which means that you will:

Drive the maturation of ideas, ironing out what Group Finance or Nordea should aim for Translate business needs into tangible project objectives and set up the needed project structure to achieve those objectives Inspire, coach and empower team members to make sure that initiative deliverables and goals are met Support the teams or team members in removing impediments and blockers to secure delivery  Manage stakeholders and successfully deliver according to agreed scope and priorities in a predictable and transparent manner Proactively demonstrate control of the key issues i.e. risk and compliance, and manage proper mitigating activities to ensure a smooth delivery Together with the teams create a fun and energising work environment built on trust, inclusion and clear communication


The role is based in Helsinki; Stockholm.

Your experience and background:

A proven track record in project or programme management or facilitation of complex initiatives (5+ years) Firm grasp of traditional project management or agile methods Previous experience from Nordea is a special merit Functional competence in Finance Analytical skills and an ability to deal with complex issues Experience in building strong stakeholder relationships Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field Fluency in English
