Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and confident individual to serve as the Assistant to the Engineering Director. This role requires a proactive professional who will act as the right hand to the Director, ensuring the smooth operation of projects and programs. This position involves coordinating strategic meetings, providing support during visits, and assisting with communication and branding initiatives.

Key Responsabilities
Strategic Meeting Coordination:

Organize and coordinate strategic meetings, including management reviews and working time sessions. Prepare agendas, documents, and follow-up on action items to ensure meetings are productive and objectives are met.

Support for Visits and Agendas:

Assist in coordinating visits by external stakeholders, define visit agendas and ensure seamless execution. Facilitate smooth communication and planning for internal and external visits.

Communication and Branding Projects:

Collaborate with the Engineering Director & HR on communication initiatives. Support branding efforts related to strategic projects.

Project Management:

Lead and support various projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. Track project progress and provide regular updates to the Engineering Director.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as a liaison between the Engineering Director and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Confidently interact with all levels of management, presenting information clearly and effectively. Demonstrate confidence and assertiveness in discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Professional Competence:

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an engineering or technical environment. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects independently. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Ability to communicate confidently and assertively with senior management and stakeholders.

Interpersonal Skills:

High level of self-confidence and professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with project management tools and software.

Personal Attributes:

Firm and Confident: Must be able to take initiative and make decisions with confidence. Proactive: Anticipate the needs of the Engineering Director and act accordingly. Adaptable: Able to handle a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Team Player: Willing to work collaboratively with different teams and departments.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or project management role, preferably supporting senior management.
