We’re looking for User Researcher Interns to join the band this summer for a variety of teams. In this role, you will get to design research on our products and users and you will have an impact on the way the world listens to and experiences audio content.For our Experience mission, we’re also looking for a Product Design Intern. You’ll master your craft to turn insights into appealingly designed products (both interactions and visuals), and seek to encourage the organization by showing/prototyping what is possible before it is built.

  • Define, plan, and conduct user research with Spotify customers
  • Deliver compelling insights to the product and design teams
  • Facilitate evidence-based product and design decisions
  • Contribute to company-wide research strategy
  • [DESIGN ONLY] Check and edit copy produced by product designers across the mission
  • [DESIGN ONLY] Work on design projects in small multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to craft challenges
  • [DESIGN ONLY] Supply ideas to develop the right product strategy. Together, you'll address problems and come up with solutions that delight our users
  • [DESIGN ONLY] Produce concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes
Who You Are
  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Social Science, or a related field
  • You have a graduation date of 2024 or 2025
  • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2024
  • You are available from June to August 2024 to participate in the summer internship
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with stakeholders across disciplines
  • You have experience planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research
  • You are familiar with quantitative research methods, familiar with metrics and A/B tests, and are able to synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research
  • You are a great storyteller and communicator, able to speak fluently to business teams, designers, engineers and other partners (in English)
  • You enjoy collaborative work in a dynamic, data-driven, creative environment
Where You'll Be
  • This role will require you to work out of our Stockholm Office
  • Working hours? We operate within CET for collaboration
Our paid summer internships last for approximately 10 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is March 15th 2024 at 9 AM EST.
