ValueMyStuff is the leading destination for online appraisals, providing in-depth expert analyses of your items. We currently have over 60 experts, formerly of Sotheby’s and Christie’s, appraising art, antiques, memorabilia and more with just the click of a button. ValueMyStuff was founded in 2011 and acquired by the Barnebys Group in Fall 2018.

ValueMyStuff and Barnebys Group are in a unique position at the intersection between old and new, and were the first to create an innovative digital ecosystem for the art and antiques world.

We're looking for an intern to join our team for the Spring and Summer of 2024. The optimal candidate will be someone with a passion for the arts, who is eager to learn about the online art world and engage with our expert network. You will be working alongside managers, administrators and our digital team across a range of ongoing initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting with administrative duties and appraisal pipeline.
  • Supporting our client services team with auction houses, affiliates and clientele.
  • Coordinating social media accounts with our marketing department.
  • Creating unique content for our blog and newsletters.
  • Collaborating with members of the Editorial team on current initiatives.

What we’ll want you to have:

  • Student or recent graduate in Art History or similar field of study
  • Experience and/or interest in the art market and antiques/auction world
  • Self-motivated and eager to delve into new projects
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Fluent English speaker. Additional languages a plus
