Design and deploy Quality Methods and ways of working in a depot, to improve the external demerit and support on the Zero Defect Program

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

Accountability & Authorities

 

  • Represents the Customer Voice within the Depots included in his/her scope. Ensures that all Customer quality issues are addressed and  managed. Consolidates good relationships with Customer, contributes to Customer Satisfaction
  • Guarantees the Quality of the products & services delivered to Customer
  • Manages closely the Quality & Safety items of the Operations activities. Escalate critical Quality and Safety issues within the organization; directly manage maintenance issues not related to Safety
  • Manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant depot (IQ team + process + KPI).
  • Liaise with manufacturing site in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.
  • Participate customer joint Inspections.
  • Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX of previous project execution.
  • Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required & performed follow-up.
  • Perform first characterization & manage NCR’s for non-compliant products for internal responsibility.
  • Consolidate and animate internal NCR management
  • Manage problem solving and challenge lead unit on proposed containment and corrective action to ensure performance resolution
  • Have ability to accepts or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support.
  • Ensure customer approval, documents validation & compliance of the manufactured products before shipping.
  • Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team.

 

Performance measurements

 

  • Defects per Unit reduction (10 % per year) and External demerit objective.
  • CONQ objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3).
  • APSYS score for Quality scope.

 

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements / Experience

Mandatory:

  • Master’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent for PIQ.

Desirable:

  • Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.

Mandatory:

  • Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.

Desirable:

  • 3 years experiences in Industrial.
  • Project management or equivalent.

Competencies & Skills

  • Technical mastering of railway products.
  • International mindset & fluent in English.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
