The Role:

As a UX Research Lead you'll be part of the Product Design Lead Team. You'll manage a small central UX Research team that supports designers and cross functional partners throughout the product organization. Aside from UX Research, the Product Design Lead Team also covers UX Writing and design leadership. The wider product organization consists of over 450 talented specialists within product, engineering, design and analytics, located in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Basingstoke, Tallinn and Atlanta.

What youâll be doing:

In the UX Research Lead position youâll be tasked with raising the bar on how we leverage and capitalize on research across the product organization. In collaboration with the existing two people UX research team as well as marketing research and product analytics, youâll help shape the capability moving forward, with regards to staffing, tooling, and processes.

The responsibilities will entail a mix of strategic and hands-on work, whilst also managing and supporting the small research team.

As UX Research Lead youâll report directly to the Head of Product Design and will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders in product, engineering and design, to ensure we integrate research effectively for informing how our products should look, feel and work moving forward.

Key responsibilities:

  • Elevate the overall UX Research competence within EasyPark.

  • Ensure a high bar of quality for the research studies we conduct and ensure that the insights and findings are capitalized on across the organization.

  • Manage the small UX Research team â coach and support them in the day to day and ensure theyâre set up for success. Over time youâll also get to grow the team, spend time recruiting and onboarding new team members.

  • Improve processes for how to integrate UX Research in the product development cycle effectively. This will include creating guidelines, recommendations and best practices.

  • Ensure that weâre set up appropriately with regards to research tooling.


What youâll bring to the team

  • We expect you to have at least 7+ years of experience in UX research with 2+ years of lead/management/coaching experience.

  • Solid experience working with cross functional teams, preferably in a product/SaaS context.

  • We expect you to be a strong communicator in both written and verbal form.

  • Track record of contributing towards outcome-centric, high quality projects.

  • Outstanding foundational skills and understanding of research methodologies and how to leverage them in practice.

This role can be based at the EasyPark headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden or Amsterdam,The Netherlands.

We expect you to share a portfolio or resume, giving a sense for your track record of contributing to ship excellent products.
