Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer / Integration Developer to support customer projects by setting up and configuring integrations through the integration layer, based on customer requirements and industry best practices. The role involves a combination of customer communication, integration configuration, testing and Java development . This is not a pure development role; strong Java knowledge is required primarily to understand and utilise reusable integration components effectively. Role split:
- 40% Customer communication & requirement gathering
- 30% Integration configuration
- 10% Testing
- 20% Java development
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customer teams to understand integration requirements.
- Configure and implement integrations through the integration platform/layer.
- Use reusable integration components and follow established best practices.
- Develop and customise integration components using Java where required.
- Work with API Management and Apache Kafka for integration solutions.
- Configure and manage integrations involving PostgreSQL .
- Support automation using GitHub Actions and Ansible Tower .
- Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes clusters.
- Perform integration testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Work in Linux and WSL environments.
- Use tools such as Splunk, Fluent Bit and Helm for monitoring, logging and deployment.
- Communicate effectively with customer and internal technical teams. Mandatory Technical Skills
- Java – 3–5 years
- API Management and/or Apache Kafka – 2–4 years

- Previous experience working within an Integration/Integration Services department Non-Technical Requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to gather and clarify integration requirements from customer teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment.
