Role purpose
We are bringing our paid acquisition function in-house and we are hiring an engineer’s mindset to run it.
This is not a traditional paid search role. The job is to design, operate and continuously improve the system that turns marketing spend into profitable customers across four markets. You will be measured on what that system produces, not on what activity went into it.
You will treat acquisition as an engineering problem
Spend → clicks → leads → customers → contribution margin.
You own that chain end to end in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. Four markets, four languages, one system.
Find the constraint. Every market has one, and it is rarely the one people assume.
Separate what correlates from what causes. Then act on the causal one.
Improve customer quality and unit economics, not just volume.
What you will build:
Visibility. Daily and weekly numbers that show where value is created and where it is lost, per market. Built by you, owned by you, defended by you in front of the CEO.
A fast loop. Weekly cycles. Start what works, stop what does not, scale what performs. Short latency between signal, decision and action.
A clean data layer. Direct access to the underlying data, without reporting layers in between. Reliable inputs, reproducible numbers, short path from data to decision.
A test roadmap. Structured, prioritised, with honest readouts. Including the tests that failed.
What success looks like in 6–12 months
Customer acquisition cost and contribution margin per market are known, trusted and improving
Higher-quality customers, not just more of them
Marketing’s contribution to EBITDA is visible rather than argued about
Low-performing activity has been removed, regardless of who owned it
Decision cycles are measured in days
The profile
Background
A degree with some quantitative content: economics, business, engineering, statistics, industrial engineering or similar. Equivalent practical experience counts.
One to three years of hands-on work with paid media and data. Agency, in-house or a substantial internship. If you are early in your career but have run real accounts and can think clearly, apply.
You have run Google Ads yourself. The size of the budget matters less than whether the account was genuinely yours and you understand why it performed the way it did.
You use AI tools actively in your daily work and can show us how.
Professional English. Swedish or German is a clear advantage.
You will not have done all of this before, and we do not expect you to. We are hiring for reasoning ability, curiosity and ownership. The rest is learned here, and you will get a proper handover.
How you think
You see systems, not channels
You go after root cause instead of symptom
You simplify complexity rather than adding to it
You are comfortable deciding with incomplete information, and saying so
How you work
Hands-on in the data yourself
High ownership. You find the problem, size it, and bring a recommendation.
Independent. Hybrid setup, small distributed team, no micromanagement. That only works if you manage yourself.
What this role is not
Not brand work without measurable commercial impact
Not campaign execution against someone else’s brief
Not agency coordination
Not long planning cycles with output at the end
What you should be comfortable with
Being measured on commercial outcomes rather than marketing metrics
Cutting work that does not perform, including your own
Challenging decisions, including the CEO’s, with data behind you
Owning an area outright with nobody above you doing the analysis for you
Why this role
We are a Nasdaq First North-listed company with a small team. That means real scope early: you will own a commercial system across four markets, report to our Growth Director, and work directly with the CEO on the numbers. You will build something rather than run someone else’s playbook.
We are not primarily hiring for years of experience. We are hiring for analytical rigour, learning speed and ownership.
