What You'll Do
Develop software in the native layers of the Android Automotive stack Develop and maintain Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer (VHAL) solutions and integrations Act as the bridge between vehicle hardware, the Android platform, and the application layer Enable vehicle functions related to electrification and driving experience Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, implementation, verification, and validation Influence technical direction and architecture decisions What You Bring B.
Sc. or M.
Sc. in Software Engineering or equivalent 7+ years of relevant software development experience Experience in automotive software development Experience driving technical discussions Experience mentoring or supporting other developers Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges Hands-on experience with: Embedded Android Development Android Automotive OS (AAOS) AOSP Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer (VHAL) C++ Java Kotlin Python Shell Scripting Git Software Architecture Software Verification & Validation Nice to Have Swedish Driver's License (Category B) Tata Technologies: Engineering a better world.
