Details of Position

We are a well-established private language school and are currently looking to recruit a qualified and experienced English Language Teacher to join our teaching team.
*KEY REQUIREMENTS*
The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 years of teaching experience in private language schools
• Proven ability to teach all levels (preA1C2) and all age groups (young learners, teens, adults)
• A CELTA qualification (essential)
• DELTA qualification (desirable and considered a strong asset)
• Cambridge Examiner status (desirable and considered a strong asset)
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

The position includes 23 contact teaching hours per week, Monday to Friday, with availability to work on Saturdays - starting off with a 1 year contract, renewable to open ended after the first year.

Degree Required

Applicants Should Have One Of The Following Required Qualifications:
Cambridge CELTA, Cambridge DELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, Trinity DipTESOL, BA TEFL, BA TESOL, MA TEFL, Masters MA TESOL

Teaching experience: 3 years

Qualifications
CELTA and equivalent (teaching certification with observed lessons);

DELTA (desirable and considered a strong asset);

Degree (Specialisations in pedagogy, english, linguistics, applied linguistics considered a strong asset)

Proof of up-to-date continuous professional development;

Cambridge examiner

Salary and Benefits

1,400 - 1,700 Euros gross per calendar month; 13th salary paid in December (pro rata if less than a calendar year has been worked); 14th salary set aside in severance fund, paid at end of employment.

Full social security cover included.

Furnished accommodation provided at subsidised rent for 3 years.

4 weeks holiday per year, plus Italian national holidays.

Start date February/March year contract, renewable to open ended after the first year
