We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to design, build, and evolve modern, scalable integrations across our Azure landscape. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while understanding the business processes behind them.

You will work closely with engineers, Enterprise Architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to create robust, resilient, and future-ready integration solutions that support our digital transformation journey. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will contribute to architecture discussions, mentor peers, drive technical ownership, and help establish best practices for integrations as we scale.

What you will do:

• Design and develop integrations using Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, API Management, and REST APIs following best practices for scalability, resilience, and security.

• Implement event-driven and messaging-based patterns (pub/sub, queues, distributed events) to build reliable distributed systems.

• Drive integration architecture, establish patterns and guidelines, and influence the long-term Azure integration roadmap.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and external partners to align solutions with organizational standards and strengthen internal ownership.

• Take end-to-end ownership of integration tasks, ensuring clarity, progress, and alignment with business needs.

• Translate complex business processes into maintainable, resilient technical solutions, emphasizing idempotency, error handling, retries, and observability.

• Establish and maintain coding standards, reusable patterns, and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Git.

• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements, define integration contracts and data flows, develop maintainability plans, and communicate proactively while balancing technical and business needs.

What we are looking for:

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of core integration concepts and strong experience with Azure Integration Services (Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, API Management).

• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and event-driven design patterns.

• Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable integration patterns that are resilient, fault-tolerant, and idempotent.

• Experience with .NET (C#), Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

• Ability to collaborate with Enterprise Architects and external partners to align solutions with organizational standards.

• Familiarity with common integration challenges: retries, race conditions, dead-letter queues (DLQs), and message ordering.

• Strong understanding of API design and lifecycle: authentication, throttling, versioning, and best practices.

Soft Skills

• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive complex tasks from concept to delivery, balancing hands-on implementation with architectural oversight.

• Ability to understand and model business processes and translate them into high-quality technical solutions.

• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with Enterprise Architects, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
