QUALITY ASSURANCE
What We Do

The Quality Assurance team owns the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of all products and functions across Epic. Our team works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.

What You'll Do

Epic is seeking a Senior QA Manager to join our Fortnite game teams. You will be leading a group of internal and external leads, managers and ICs, supporting in-development projects within Fortnite. We are a tight group within a large organization that prizes intelligence, creativity, and nimble problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with game QA management experience and has a passion for growing our global community players.

In this role, you will

• Manage teams of Quality Assurance professionals supporting multiple game modes and helping these teams integrate with other teams in the ecosystem
• Create and maintain the overall quality strategy for specific game modes and content pipelines
• Conduct organizational and staff planning, including the usage of vendors and partners
• Invest in evaluating and improving quality practices and processes across product spaces
• Partner across product leadership and development disciplines to build quality practices into all aspects of development
• Manage, mentor, and develop future leaders and managers within the department
• Act as a senior leader within Fortnite to push the boundaries on what quality, quality assurance, and testing looks like in games development

What we're looking for

• 8+ Years of QA Experience
• 6+ years of leadership experience, including 3-5 years managing leads / managers
• Track record developing quality strategies encompasses staffing, technical requirements, product space, and automation, with involvement throughout the development lifecycle at the medium-large product level
• Excellence in organizational planning, change management, and process improvements, as well as developing leaders and IC's across all sub-disciplines within QA, with a proven track record for successful growth of senior ICs and leads
• Experience identifying and executing solutions for strategic threats to quality/testing/risk at the product, process, and people levels
• Experience working with art and content pipelines
• Experience with technical spaces or automation
• Experience with UE or UEFN preferred

This role is open to multiple locations in North America and Europe (excluding CA, NY, & WA).
