We in the  Infrastructure team are the backbone of Truecaller's success, providing a reliable, scalable, and secure platform that powers all our services and products. We are committed to delivering world-class internal and customer-facing infrastructure that drives innovation, minimizes operational friction for engineers, and ensures high availability.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key areas within our core infrastructure platform. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies, developer needs, and business objectives. The ideal candidate will transform complex technical challenges into clear, actionable product initiatives that deliver outsized value to our engineering organization and, ultimately, our customers.

The impact you will create:

1. Strategy & Vision:

• Define the Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a compelling, long-term product vision and strategy for your domain (e.g., Cloud Platform, Observability, Compute, or Developer Experience).
• Roadmap Ownership: Own, prioritize, and manage the infrastructure product roadmap, balancing immediate engineering needs with future strategic investments.
• Business Justification: Build robust business cases (ROI, TCO, engineering velocity impact) to justify new infrastructure investments and features.

1. Stakeholder Management & Execution:

• Customer Empathy: Act as the voice of the internal engineering customer, deeply understanding their pain points, workflows, and technical requirements related to infrastructure consumption.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Infrastructure Engineering, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), Security, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on priorities and successful feature delivery.
• Product Definition: Write clear, concise, and detailed product requirements (PRDs, user stories) for new features and platform improvements.
• Go-to-Market (Internal): Develop and execute internal rollout plans, documentation, and training to drive adoption of new infrastructure services across the engineering organization.

1. Measurement & Optimization:

• Define Success Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics (e.g., reliability, adoption rate, TCO, engineering velocity improvements) to track the success and health of the infrastructure products.
• Iterative Improvement: Use data and feedback to constantly evaluate platform performance and guide continuous iteration and optimization.

What you bring in: 

• Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2-3 years directly managing core infrastructure, platform, or developer-facing tools.
• Technical Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of at least one major infrastructure area (e.g., Public Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger), CI/CD, or Networking).
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for technical and executive audiences.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to use data and quantitative analysis to inform product prioritization and decision-making.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

It would be great if you also have:

• Strategic Thinker: Ability to think several years ahead and identify disruptive opportunities and threats in the infrastructure landscape.
• Influencer: Proven ability to influence change without direct authority across engineering teams and senior leadership.
• Bias for Action: Results-oriented with a proven track record of shipping complex infrastructure products.
• Experience working in a high-scale, fast-paced technology environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps and SRE principles and methodologies.
