The Role:
We're looking for a
Data Platform Engineer
to design, implement, and manage a
modern data storage and analytics platform
. You'll build scalable data pipelines, structure data for analysis, and enable both technical and non-technical users to uncover insights through intuitive data exploration and visualization tools.
Area of Responsibility
- Design and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Connect and integrate data from Amazon RDS clusters and other sources into a unified data warehouse.
- Develop reliable and automated data flows to convert raw data into business-ready insights.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation of data models and transformations.
- Structure and model data to support self-service analytics for business and technical teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
Knowledge / Experience
- Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or analytics platform development.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS services (e.g., RDS, Lambda, ECS, S3, Glue, Redshift, or Athena).
- Proficiency in .NET Core and Entity Framework (EF) Core for integration and data application development.
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with agile development methods and CI/CD workflows.
- A mindset for scalability, performance, and automation.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience building or maintaining data lakes and data warehouses in AWS.
- Strong understanding of integration development and APIs
