IT Operations Manager Opportunity in Stockholm

I am hiring for an IT Operations Manager position at a well known Scandinavian brand in Stockholm. The ideal candidate enjoy combining technical hands-on work with supporting and guiding a skilled operations team.

You'll have strong leadership experience within the IT sector, as well as documented experience with Azure and on-prem services, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD. Bonus points if you're coming from larger organisations with complex IT structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive automation of operations, infrastructure, and deployments, and collaborate with the wider development team on DevOps and modern application operations.
  • Ensure high quality support for incident management and ensuring systems are up to date.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure meets security and regulatory requirements, and improve identity and access management.
  • Lead and develop the IT operations team with a focus on competence, conducting performance reviews, salary reviews, and managing the department budget.
  • Contribute to the IT strategy, roadmap, and development initiatives whilst supporting business goals.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in leadership
  • Hands on experience with Azure and on-prem services
  • Experience with IaC (e.g. Terraform or Ansible)
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps
  • Bonus: Knowledge of IT governance and security

This role requires candidates to speak fluent Swedish and cannot support visas.
