We are seeking an
Oracle RA Senior Expert
to design, implement, and manage
Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA)
solutions supporting mission-critical
Oracle Exadata
environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in backup and recovery strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery frameworks for enterprise-grade Oracle database platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive
    backup and recovery strategies
    for on-premise Oracle Exadata environments.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize the
    Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA)
    to meet performance and compliance standards.
  • Perform
    capacity planning
    and ensure scalability of backup infrastructures.
  • Integrate ZDLRA with
    Oracle RMAN
    and other enterprise backup tools.
  • Monitor and fine-tune backup performance to meet
    zero data loss
    objectives.
  • Troubleshoot complex backup, recovery, and performance issues across Exadata and Recovery Appliance platforms.
  • Collaborate with DBA, storage, and infrastructure teams to ensure strong
    disaster recovery readiness
    .
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years
    of Oracle Database Administration experience.
  • 5+ years
    of hands-on expertise with
    Oracle Exadata
    and
    ZDLRA
    .
  • Advanced proficiency in
    RMAN
    ,
    Data Guard
    , and enterprise-level backup & recovery strategies.
  • Strong understanding of
    Oracle RAC
    ,
    ASM
    , and storage architectures.
  • Experience with
    on-premise Exadata deployments
    and integration with Recovery Appliance.
  • Familiarity with
    OCI Exadata
    and hybrid backup solutions is a plus.

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
    or
    Oracle Certified Master (OCM)
