Job Description:
The assignment focuses on strengthening a development team responsible for building and maintaining a national digital infrastructure for health, healthcare, and social care. The purpose of the infrastructure is to enable secure and efficient information sharing between healthcare systems, contributing to improved healthcare quality, enhanced patient safety, a stronger patient role, and reduced administrative workload for healthcare professionals.
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will work closely with system developers, UX specialists, and stakeholders to design, develop, and further enhance digital services using modern web and backend technologies. The work is carried out in an agile environment with a strong focus on quality, test automation, and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and technical requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
Design, develop, further develop, and maintain services and system functionality
Develop user-friendly, responsive graphical user interfaces
Build and maintain backend services and REST-based APIs
Work according to test-driven development (TDD) principles and implement automated tests
Contribute to system documentation and technical specifications
Collaborate closely with UX specialists and stakeholders in solution development
Participate actively in agile development teams and ceremonies
Mandatory Requirements:
Competence Level 2:
Approximately 3 years of professional experience
Experience from several similar assignments
Ability to independently carry out defined tasks with some supervision
At least 3 years of experience as a Full-Stack System Developer, including GUI development
At least 3 years of experience with Java (acquired within the last 5 years)
At least 3 years of experience with (acquired within the last 5 years)
At least 1 year of experience developing REST-based services (within the last 3 years)
At least 3 years of experience with test-driven development and test automation, of which at least 2 years were acquired within the last 5 years
At least 1 year of experience working in agile development teams
Relevant university or college education, or equivalent practical experience
Very good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish
Consultant location must be Kalmar or Stockholm
Desired Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of core web technologies for creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces
Experience with modern Java-based microservice frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, or equivalent
Experience working with container-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift
Experience publishing or contributing to open source software
Experience working with FHIR or other healthcare interoperability standards
Experience in requirements analysis and close collaboration with clients to break down needs into solution proposals, prototypes, and implementations
