We are looking for an experienced
Kafka Engineer
to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade data streaming solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define architecture, integrate Kafka with existing systems, and ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of our streaming ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain data streaming pipelines using
    Confluent Platform (Kafka, KSQL, Connect)
    .
  • Define architecture requirements and integrate Kafka with enterprise applications.
  • Optimize Kafka cluster performance and scalability.
  • Develop monitoring and alerting tools for high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka-related issues across environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering
    , or related field.
  • 5+ years
    of hands-on experience with
    Confluent Kafka, KSQL, and Connect
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    Java
    and
    Spring Boot
    .
  • Working knowledge of
    Kubernetes (OpenShift), Docker, Sterling, MQ, DB2, and Qlik Replicate
    .
  • Basic understanding of
    Jenkins CI/CD
    .
  • Good knowledge of
    Schema Registry
    , schema evolution, and
    Avro
    .
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
