Buddhist center seeks program administrator and teacher assistant

Yeshin Norbu Meditations center is a non-profit association rooted in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and affiliated with the international organisation FPMT, ). We offer courses in Buddhist philosophy on entry and more advanced levels, buddhist ceremony and practice, as well as secular mindfulness and meditation classes.

We currently are looking for a program administrator and teaching assistant to join our team to help with preparations for our program as well as assisting our resident teacher in preparation for classes.

Important criteria for the role are that the candidate:

  • Is a practicing Buddhist within this tradition
  • Has a great reverence for our founders Lama Zopa Rinpoche and Lama Yeshe as well as for our spiritual guide His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
  • Has at least one year of practical experience from another FPMT organisation.
  • Another essential criteria is that the person possess fluency in Indonesian language, since several of our members originate from Indonesia
  • Has over all technical competence in A/V, video editing and how to operate Zoom meetings
  • Has a kind and friendly manner
  • Has good abilities to work as part of a team
  • Has sincere interest in people and to be involved in social activities
