Senior Buyer, Indirect Procurement Nordics,
to join our Nordic Headquarters in Solna (Stockholm).

About the job

As a Senior Buyer for Indirect Procurement at Verisure, you will be responsible for executing the indirect procurement function in the Nordics across assigned categories. Your mission is to generate value while ensuring compliance and effective risk management, from purchase requisition and negotiation to purchase order.

This will include contributing to a Procurement Plan that maximizes advantages for Verisure, leading the execution of tenders (RFPs) from specification to contract signature, and influencing stakeholders to define and standardize their requirements, while ensuring compliance with Procurement processes and policy.

What you'll be up to
:

  • Execution of the Procurement Plan on categories under your responsibility, maximizing value and savings across the organization
  • Collaborate, support, and influence
    business leaders across all stages of procurement, from requisition to purchase order
  • Lead tenders (RFPs),
    supplier qualification, negotiation, and contract award in coordination with Legal and internal stakeholders
  • Draft and negotiate contracts
    ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Gather and define specifications
    for products and services in collaboration with business areas
  • Conduct market and spend analysis
    to identify opportunities and risks
  • Follow and report
    on risk mitigation actions and escalate issues when required
  • Monitor supplier performance
    against agreed KPIs and manage supplier relationships
  • Lead improvements
    within the Procurement department, including processes and policies
  • Support hands-on the ERP (Oracle) implementation
    and contribute to related change management initiatives

It's a communicative role where you will be the key link between business areas and suppliers. You'll lead procurement discussions, represent the business in negotiations, and secure the best proposals for internal clients. By advising on supplier selection and keeping all parties informed, you'll drive alignment, transparency, and successful outcomes throughout the process.

About you

To thrive and succeed as a Senior Buyer, we believe you are an excellent communicator and skilled negotiator, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead procurement activities end-to-end. You are structured, analytical, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

We believe you have proven experience in sourcing indirect products and services, preferably in a large, complex organization. Your ability to adapt to new environments and maintain a customer-focused mindset will help you succeed in this role.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Swedish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
  • A university degree or vocational education in Procurement, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • Experience in international procurement environments, collaborating with global teams and suppliers across multiple markets
  • Hands-on experience across the full P2P process
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office. In particular, Excel and PowerPoint

Also, great if you have:

  • Experience in marketing and IT/Telco procurement, including sourcing and managing suppliers within areas such as media, creative, and digital services
  • Experience with eProcurement tools (e.g. Jaggaer, Ariba) and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
