Infrastructure Architect – Financial Sector | Stockholm (Hybrid)

We're looking for an experienced
Infrastructure Architect
to join a leading organization in the
financial sector
, known for its high standards of
security, stability, and availability
. You'll play a key role in shaping and supporting the company's IT architecture, combining strategic design with hands-on operational guidance.

About the Role

As an
Infrastructure Architect
, you'll be part of the core architecture team — ensuring robust, secure, and scalable IT solutions. You'll contribute to both daily operations and project initiatives, translating business needs into sustainable technical strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and quality-assure architectural work in projects to ensure efficient and compliant implementation.
  • Document architectural designs in line with established frameworks and principles.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, security experts, and vendors.
  • Communicate and align architectural decisions across teams and stakeholders.
  • Support the development and enhancement of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework.
  • Advise on infrastructure and platform design to optimize performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Relevant post-secondary education.
  • 8+ years of experience
    as an Infrastructure Architect.
  • Strong technical background across multiple domains, with expertise in:
  • Network architecture:
    LAN/WLAN/WAN, switching, routing, load balancing, firewalls.
  • Cloud & infrastructure services:
    IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
  • Virtualization & storage:
    VMware, backup, and storage solutions.
  • Proficiency with modeling tools such as
    SPARX Enterprise Architect
    or similar.
  • Ability to visualize and analyze complex IT structures.
  • Swedish citizenship
    (required for security clearance).

Merits:

    financial sector
    or other regulated industries.
  • Background in
    architectural governance
    within large, complex environments.
  • Familiarity with
    IT governance
    and business management principles.
  • Skilled in leading
    technical workshops and briefings
    .

Assignment Details:


Start:
