What You Will Enjoy Doing

• You will lead the regional PHA/HAZOP program and conduct process safety risk assessments, including HAZOP, LOPA, and other safety studies
• Provide support, training and advice to the business and operations through active participation
• Develop and support with implementation of safety procedures, protocols, and training programs
• Ensure compliance with relevant EU regulations and industry standards (e.g., Seveso Directive)
• Lead and/or participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations and collaborate with local operations, and safety teams to identify and resolve process safety issues
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process safety
• Stay up to date on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in process safety
• Manage process safety documentation, such as P&IDs, safety data sheets, and emergency response plans

What Makes You Great

• Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Safety Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Operational experience from chemical, or process industry and strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety compliance
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Seveso directive) and proven experience leading and using process safety risk analysis and tools and methodologies, including HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, FMEA
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in teams across borders
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization
• Professional certifications (e.g., HAZOP Leader, Certified Auditor) driven, supportive, organized and analytical
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish, or another Scandinavian language, or Finnish, or one of the Baltic languages
