As we work toward reaching 100 million people, the amount of data we handle is growing quickly. To understand our impact and help brands improve conditions in their supply chains, we need reliable and well-structured data. That is why this role is so important.

As our Senior Data Engineer, you will own and develop the pipelines that turn raw activity into clear and trustworthy insights. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure our data is accurate, accessible and ready to support new needs as our product evolves. Your work will directly strengthen how we measure and drive positive change for workers around the world.

As a Senior Data Engineer at Quizrr you'll:

• Take the lead role in developing and designing ETL pipelines
• Collaborate with our growing team of developers and designers to continuously improve software and business processes by using innovative tools and techniques
• Playing a key role in our product innovation discussions
• Knowing that your everyday work will improve working conditions for factory workers around the globe

To be successful in this role, we believe skills you have are:

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines using tools like AWS Glue, Spark, or dbt.
• Experience working with MongoDB and SQL databases
• Understanding of software architecture patterns and the ability to discuss and contribute to technical strategies and solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Startup mentality - adaptability, initiative, and a passion for making an impact.
• Product minded - balancing technical needs with user experience, and collaborates on the product vision.
• You have great communication skills and speak fluent English (we are an international team)

Bonus skills

• Knowledge and experience with classical statistics.
• Devops experience with exposure to AWS services.
• Understanding of security best practices in software development.
  
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with designers, product managers, and developers
