Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET, AWS)

Overview

A global technology company operating at a large scale are seeking multiple Senior Software Engineers to join their Backend Engineering organisation. You'll be part of a team building real-time voice and in-app calling services used by enterprise clients worldwide.

Working across a modern, cloud-native environment, you'll contribute to both new greenfield services and the modernisation of existing systems. This is an opportunity to build high-impact, event-driven systems within small, autonomous teams that value engineering excellence, DevOps ownership, and innovation.

You'll work closely with experienced engineers and technical leads on high-traffic APIs, platform components, and customer-facing infrastructure that powers communication products relied upon globally.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET
  • Hands-on experience building cloud-first, distributed systems in AWS
  • Background in microservices and event-driven architectures
  • Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Kafka is a bonus (not essential)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a high-scale environment
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work effectively in self-organising teams
