Site Manager – Solar Park Projects

Leap29 is proud to partner with one of Sweden's premier solar park installation companies. We are now seeking two experienced Site Managers to lead on-site operations for major solar energy projects.

In this role, you'll be the key link between project management and the field, ensuring that everything on site runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You'll work closely with a Project Manager and Quality Assurance team internally, and coordinate with both a main contractor and multiple subcontractors externally.

Key Responsibilities

As Site Manager, you will take full ownership of site operations, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your main duties include:

  • Leading and coordinating daily construction activities (07:00–16:00) and managing subcontractors.
  • Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and quality targets.
  • Managing site establishment, logistics, and work environment standards.
  • Acting as BAS-U representative, ensuring all HSE and safety procedures are strictly followed.

Daily tasks include:

  • Conducting daily briefings and check-ins with subcontractor site managers.
  • Planning and coordinating deliveries, materials, and inventory management.
  • Liaising with the main contractor and other subcontractors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Documenting daily progress, deviations, and updates through digital tools, photos, and site diaries.
  • Reporting regularly to the Project Manager on schedule changes, issues, or deviations.
  • Making smaller on-site material purchases as needed.

About You

We are looking for someone with solid technical and leadership skills who thrives in dynamic project environments.

Requirements:

  • Construction-related education or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor on large-scale infrastructure, land development, or energy projects.
  • Strong knowledge of work environment legislation and BAS-U experience.
  • Familiarity with construction law (AB).
  • Proven experience with cost control and project follow-up.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in solar energy projects.
  • Additional leadership or project management qualifications.
