About the position
Dellner Glass Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Director to lead and transform our multi-site supply chain into a strategic, lean, and resilient function. This is a key leadership role reporting to the COO, with responsibility for driving operational excellence, supplier performance, and cost leadership across our European production network and global supplier base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a center-led supply chain strategy across four production sites.
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier development, and contract negotiations.
- Drive ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) utilization for procurement, planning, and supplier collaboration.
- Ensure supplier compliance with IRIS, EN 15085, EN 17460, and ISO/TS 22163 standards.
- Manage supply risk through dual sourcing, scorecards, and contingency planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
- Lead and mentor purchasing teams across Sweden, Finland, Poland, and the UK.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement and supply chain leadership in rail, bus, or automotive sectors.
- Strong knowledge of lean supply chain principles (JIT, Kanban, value stream mapping).
- Proven success in multi-site or multinational supply chain transformation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills (Polish, Finnish, Swedish) are a plus.
Travel & Location
This role is based in Sweden, Finland, Poland, or the United Kingdom, with regular travel across European sites and supplier locations. Occasional international travel may be required to engage with global suppliers and support strategic initiatives.
