With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, AI-driven communication tools such as chatbots, virtual assistants, and deepfake voice generators, are becoming increasingly indistinguishable from human interaction. While these technologies offer numerous benefits, they also pose significant risks by blurring the line between authentic human communication and AI-generated responses. This thesis seeks to address the growing concern of how to validate and authenticate human communication in digital environments where AI is prevalent.

Project description

In this thesis, investigate the complexity of impersonating another human being by using available AI tools. When this have been accomplished, investigate how this can be detected or prevented to ensure secure communication.

Purpose and Scope

  • How easy is it to imposter another human by using the means of AI?
  • How can this be prevented to ensure secure communication?
  • Are there any benefits of using AI to impersonation oneself?
  • What are the ethical issues regarding this subject?
