Role: Software Consultant (Integration & Update)

Location: Gothenburg or Stockholm, Sweden

Mode of employment: B2B Contract

What you'll do

Your main responsibility will be to support software updates in test objects and cars and deliver updated test objects to secure further testing with the latest software.

This includes updating test objects to the latest baseline or according to customer requirements, as well as downloading and organizing baselines during different project phases.

You will work closely with our customers and stakeholders across Volvo Cars, contributing to a centralized SW-update process and ensuring smooth integration within the test farm.

  • Complete update of SW/HW to the next VR/Cluster
  • Failure analysis inside the different Cluster steps
  • Integration and adaptation of measurement technology
  • Prepare and High-Performance Cockpit Computer (HPCC) an Integrated Infotainment / Digital Cluster for Vehicle Testing.
  • SYS.5 Qualification Testing
  • Vehicle Testing on Proven Grounds

The role requires a driven person with strong computer skills, a B driver's license, and a collaborative mindset.

Knowledge of Cars' internal processes and basic understanding of DSA, PIE R&D, PIE, TEAMS, the test object process, and/or fault tracing are considered meritorious.
