We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead several software development teams and take ownership of delivery for an area of the product within Lumera Core. You'll be accountable for the people, performance, and outcomes across these teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with your teams — helping software and test engineers grow, fostering collaboration, and creating the conditions for sustainable, predictable delivery
You'll also partner with fellow Engineering Managers and Product Owners to shape priorities, align roadmaps, and build a shared sense of purpose across your area, while contributing to engineering strategy and driving change initiatives within our evolving organization.
What You'll Do
As an Engineering Manager, you'll build and nurture high-performing teams, coaching and supporting members to develop technical and professional skills. You'll strengthen delivery practices and ensure performance strikes the right balance between speed, quality, and long-term sustainability.
You'll own team composition, recruitment, and performance management — including salary and compensation reviews. You'll champion collaboration, align engineering and product goals, and represent your area in cross-functional leadership forums.
Above all, you'll keep your teams engaged, motivated, and focused on what matters most.

Experience & Qualifications
- Experience managing software engineering teams.
- At least 3 years of managerial experience with personnel responsibilities, in a development or product-focused environment.
- Holding a 3-year academic degree or equivalent relevant education.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Previous experience from working as a software engineer is a plus.
