About the role

As Tech Lead API & Integration, you will be an important leader in our tech landscape. You will manage a team of experienced and some junior engineers and specialists, both employees and consultants, and have full people responsibility. A key part of the role is shaping and prioritizing the flow of integration and API demands across Scandic, ensuring that the work of your teams connects to both immediate business needs and long-term strategic goals.

You will report to our Head of Tech for API & Integration, and play a key role in how Scandic continues to evolve in this important area. Your focus will be to:

• Lead and coach teams (around 10+ people), supporting both individuals and groups in their development
• Ensure the right priorities are set in a complex environment with many stakeholders and projects
• Develop and improve ways of working and processes
• Manage consultant intake and external partnerships
• Apply your experience of managing integration and API platforms in enterprise environments

Skills & Requirements

You likely bring:

We are looking for an experienced leader with a technical foundation. You have likely worked as a developer or architect earlier in your career and understand the complexity of building and managing large-scale platforms. You have experience and know how to lead teams, set priorities, and navigate in large organizations.

• Proven experience leading technical teams in system integration and/or API domains
• Familiarity with governance, lifecycle management, and vendor collaboration
• Ability to prioritize and manage multi-stakeholder environments
• Structured, methodical, and delivery-focused mindset
• Great communication skills in English
