We're the team behind Arrive's B2B business — one of the company's fastest-growing and most strategically important areas. As B2B Design Lead, you'll help shape products that solve real-world problems for businesses managing fleets and mobility at scale.

What you'll be doing

The B2B Design Lead at Arrive takes a strong and holistic ownership of the end to end user experience that's under the remit of the department they're working in.

This role entails a mix of leading a small team as well as hands-on contributions to raise the bar on the quality of the experiences offered to Arrive's users.

As B2B Design Lead you'll report directly to the Head of Product Design and will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders in product, engineering and design, to shape the next steps of how the products should look, work and feel moving forward.

Key responsibilities:

Through close collaboration with key stakeholders, ensure that the user experience of Arrive's products are the best they can possibly be.

Coach, support and collaborate with a small, distributed team of skilled product designers to set both them and the department up for success. This includes spending time in 1:1's, working with recruitment, onboarding new joiners, as well continuously improving ways of working, processes and overall maturity of design within the department.

Whilst you'll work with a team of designers, you're also expected to have solid hands-on skills that you don't mind leveraging with relative frequency. Your craft is at a level where you have an ability to truly elevate the quality of the products from a design standpoint.

Aside from working with cross functional collaborators across the department, you'll also work frequently with others in the wider organization: e.g. designers, UX researchers, UX writers and the design system team.

What you'll bring to the team

We expect you to have at least 5+ years of experience in design with 3+ years of lead/management/coaching experience.

Solid experience working with cross functional teams, preferably in a product/SaaS context.

We expect you to be a strong communicator in both written and verbal form.

Track record of product-thinking, outcome-centric, high quality projects.

Impeccable craft skills. Know-how in design tools and prototyping is a given. Understanding for or skills in UX research, UX writing, motion design, design systems, are seen as beneficial.

We expect you to share an outstanding portfolio, giving a sense for your track record of shipping excellent products.
