About us

Airpelago is a Gothenburg-based tech company specializing in automated drone inspections. We develop our own tools to collect, process, and analyze geospatial data – helping clients make better, safer decisions. With our in-house software, deep tech expertise, and a small, solution-driven team, we're building the next generation of infrastructure inspection.

The role

As a Junior Data Processor, you'll work with processing and annotating geospatial data with a focus on LiDAR from drone inspections. You'll use internal tools to ensure data quality and support deliveries to ongoing projects. The role will be responsible for handling hardware such as batteries and sensors and coordinating with pilots and suppliers.

You don't need previous experience with LiDAR or programming – what matters is your ability to stay structured, learn quickly, and handle technical tools with confidence.

The team

You'll be part of a small, hands-on tech team where learning and ownership are core. We work in a flat and collaborative environment, where everyone contributes to solving real-world challenges. You'll have frequent contact with our project and flight operations teams and be part of a culture that values experimentation and pragmatic solutions.

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
  • Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems
  • Problem-solving mindset with a sense of responsibility
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English
  • Able to work from the office located in Gothenburg (Hybrid)

It's also nice if you have experience with data annotion, interest in programming and/or scripting and curiosity about drones and geospatial data.
