Vertex Professional Services (VPS) is one of the world's largest training and development solutions providers. Operating in 146 countries and 34 languages, VPS has helped global organisations transform the way they provide learning across their enterprise.

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for training delivery and localisation of training contents for participants from different OEMs. You will have insights into the latest automotive technology and training methods.

Training Delivery:

  • Deliver automotive training to technicians in the customer's dealer network.
  • Conduct technical training and improve training processes.
  • Attend customer-sponsored 'Train The Master Trainer' Workshops (TTMT) to facilitate delivery of courses in the local market.

Training Management:

  • Manage training activities: adapt new training concepts, update contents, and ensure the provision of training resources such as handouts, flip charts, PowerPoint slides, whiteboards, special tools, training aids, and vehicles.
  • Use the Learning Management System to monitor and maintain the quality of the training provision; update the system with course and student information.

Content Localisation:

  • Translate some material (in English) into the local language; adapt training material to the local market.

Facility Management:

  • Manage the training facilities in terms of appearance and cleanliness of training rooms and workshops.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and to meet the changing needs of the organisation.

Education / Qualifications

Technical Qualification

In the absence of formal qualifications, relevant experience and/or demonstrable skills will be considered.

Specific Experience:

2 years + experience within training

Requirements:

  • Experience in the learning technology area would be beneficial.
  • Fluent language skills in the local language and English.
  • Occasional travel expected within the European countries.
