We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the world of mobile robots.

Position Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be part of our Engineering department, along with 80+ other engineers working within embedded systems, system software as well as windows applications and web services.

You will play a key role in the Operation & Visualization Team, developing tools that provide real-time insights into the fleet of mobile robots. Our goal is to help customers understand how their system behaves and why, to ensure we deliver on their expectations of a robust, efficient, and 24/7 intralogistics solution.

Your main mission is to drive our data science efforts by using data to generate insights, optimize product performance, and inspire innovation. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be the thought leader of data and AI strategy in the company. You will guide us towards becoming a data-driven organization. In addition, you will champion the adoption of Generative AI technologies in our solutions.

To achieve the mission and success of this position, we believe you already have:

• University degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience working as a Data Scientist, preferably with a software development background.
• Experience designing and implementing statistical models in production-grade software.
• Proven track record of driving AI strategy and implementing AI solutions.
• Ability to think strategically and envision future possibilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably in Swedish.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Dedication to challenging the status quo to create breakthrough innovations.

Technologies:

• Analytics
  : Python (pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Plotly, Statsmodels/scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Data:
  SQL and NoSQL; strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data quality principles.
• Cloud:
  Azure (preferred); experience collaborating on cloud-based analytics and data access.
• Generative AI:
  Solid understanding of Generative AI principles, knowledge of relevant frameworks (LangChain), NLP tools (NLTK), and integration with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI API).
• Nice-to-have:
  Ability to contribute to production software (C#/React) is appreciated.
