We are looking for a results-driven Data Engineer/BI-developer to join our team and help shape the foundation of our data and analytics infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data systems and pipelines that enable timely, accurate, and meaningful business insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly finance, to translate business requirements into actionable data models, reports, and dashboards.

Requirements

YOUR ROLE

As a Data Engineer, your primary focus will be building and optimizing our data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. You will work to extract and transform raw data from various sources, ensuring it is well-structured and accessible for analysis and reporting. You will design and implement end-to-end BI solutions using the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS (OLAP and Tabular), and ensure data quality and reliability across all reporting platforms.

In addition to technical development, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide support for financial reporting processes such as budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to the enforcement of data governance and best practices. You'll be expected to continuously monitor and improve the performance of BI systems while staying aligned with evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

WHO YOU ARE

We see that you bring experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Business Intelligence, data engineering, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong experience designing and optimizing on-premise data warehouses.
  • Expertise in Microsoft BI stack: Power BI, SSIS, SSAS (OLAP and Tabular).
  • Proficient in SQL and Python programming with advanced skills in data modelling and database design.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and security best practices.
  • Experience with dimensional modelling and methodologies such as Kimball, star, and snowflake schemas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of financial data structures and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.

Additional desirable skills:

  • Experience supporting Finance or FP&A teams with BI and reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with financial systems or ERP platforms (e.g., D365 F&O, SAP, Oracle).
  • Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
