NET Software Engineer with Azure

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a key member of our team, you'll design, develop, and maintain backend solutions for our Stores. Working in an agile environment, you'll collaborate with product managers, business and frontend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable software. The ideal candidate is passionate about backend development, proficient in C# and .Net, and stays updated with Microsoft Development best practices.

In addition to the above, your role will involve:

• API Design: Collaborating on the design and implementation of APIs that facilitate seamless communication between the Mobile Application and backend, ensuring an efficient flow of data in the headless ecommerce environment.
• Databases (SQL/ NoSQL): Contributing to data modelling and database design, optimizing storage and retrieval mechanisms to align with the requirements of a headless ecommerce architecture.
• Azure Cloud: Leveraging your expertise in Azure Cloud services to enhance the scalability, reliability, and performance of our backend systems, ensuring a seamless integration with our headless ecommerce applications.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

At Store Lens, we work closely with Portfolio Brands and H&M Brand to design and provide technical solutions. We contribute to product development at every stage, from setting requirements to rollout and testing. From day one, we focus on improving by listening, building, and refining as we go. Even as we define requirements, we are already thinking ahead, using early designs, first developments, and new learnings to continuously make the product better.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), and at least 5-8 years of experience as a Software Engineer with backend focus.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET.
• Proficiency in Azure concepts and native development using Azure functions.
• Experience in concept as Always up and message queuing.
• Experience of CI/ CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Experience of containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience in Database (e.g. Cosmos Db).
• Experience in POS, Payment and Checkout area is a plus.
• Experience in SignalR is a plus.

• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in backend testing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience conducting code reviews, identifying areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Familiarity in backend testing with a focus on ensuring the reliability and performance of backend systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
