As a Senior AI Engineer, you will lead the development of AI-driven products from concept to delivery. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong product ownership, focused on building end-to-end AI applications that solve real business problems and deliver measurable value.

You will design, build, and iterate on AI-powered systems embedded directly into daily workflows. Working closely with users and cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data, Platform), you will help define requirements, test ideas rapidly, and scale successful solutions. While the role includes platform and infrastructure responsibilities, the primary emphasis is on building reliable, usable, and impactful AI products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performing AI solutions and supporting infrastructure.

• Develop AI workflows using Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based frameworks.

• Own AI products end-to-end: from problem discovery and prototyping through production deployment and iteration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, ship new AI features, and continuously improve existing solutions.

• Build and manage backend services and APIs to support AI applications.

• Deploy and operate applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability/monitoring tools to ensure production readiness.

• Ensure ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI, including data privacy, model governance, and responsible AI practices.

• Stay up to date with advancements in AI, LLMOps, platform engineering, and emerging best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and/or software engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, including RAG approaches and frameworks such as LangChain or similar.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production-grade deployment workflows.

• Experience building backend services and APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, REST, or GraphQL.

• Working knowledge of databases and data stores such as BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch.

• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

• Awareness of security, privacy, and ethical considerations in AI systems.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly summarization or information extraction.

• Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

• Exposure to agentic workflows, MCP, or advanced orchestration patterns.

• Experience with data transformation and analytics tools such as dbt.
