About the Role

We are looking for an
experienced Power Electronics Consultant
to join our team in developing next-generation
electrified powertrains and vehicle systems
. You'll play a key role in the design, simulation, and verification of
power modules and electric drive systems
, working closely with experts in electrification, battery, and charging domains.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of electric mobility by contributing to innovative, efficient, and sustainable power electronics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, verify, and industrialize
    power modules and drive systems
    for electrified vehicles.
  • Perform
    analysis, dimensioning, and simulation
    of power circuits and components.
  • Define technical requirements and documentation for suppliers and internal teams.
  • Support
    test and validation activities
    , including EMC, safety, and thermal performance.
  • Evaluate new technologies (e.g.,
    SiC, GaN
    ) and contribute to system optimization.

Qualifications

  • MSc in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics
    , or related field.
  • 5+ years
    of experience in power electronics development.
  • Strong background in
    design, testing, and analysis
    of power components (IGBT, MOSFET, SiC, GaN).
  • Knowledge of
    motor control
    ,
    powertrains
    , and
    high-voltage EV systems
    .
  • Experience with
    simulation tools
    such as PLECS, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Familiarity with
    EMC
    ,
    thermal analysis
    , and
    automotive safety standards
    (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
  • Experience with
    supplier collaboration
    and technical documentation.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in
    automotive or heavy vehicle
    industries.
  • Hands-on experience with
    inverter and DC/DC converter
    development.
  • Knowledge of
    battery systems, charging, and energy management
    .
  • Experience with
    HIL/SIL testing
    and automation.
  • Swedish language skills are an advantage but not required.
